Comprises of belts - top belt either coupled to the drive of the sweet former or individual drive for top belt. Very efficient cooling system. Open construction to facilitate thorough cleaning with water or steam jet or pressurised air. |
An air handling system provided on the top continuously supplies air which is circulated through nozzles. The direction of flow of air is normally against the travel of the sweets. Sweets released by the high speed forming machine is carried by the top narrow belt.
Sweets are distributed on the second deck by a divergent steel tray especially provided for the purpose at the end of the top deck. An oscillating distributor is a second option. To ensure trouble free packaging & in order to retain the shape of the sweets the second & lower deck is wider & the dwell time 5-6 minutes. The sweets released by the lower deck can either be coupled to a grader sorter or into a grid container. |
